) is a bit of a shrine to some of my favourite slots that I
. I have also thrown in a few that I don't really play as much anymore. Slot machines like
the immensely popular Cleopatra
or a slot usually
found in American casinos, Wolf Run
still take up a lot of floor space
in land-based but although my personal tastes have moved on, they still hold a place in my heart from a time gone by.
The world of online slots is moving at a fast pace with not only lots of familiar land-based slot machines coming online - games
like Novomatic's deluxe versions of Book Of Ra
- but a plethora (love that word - always wanted to use it!) of
online-only slots from manufacturers like Playtech and Microgaming who have been around for well over a decade now and produce some amazing games.
Some of the slots featured here are from the latter developers of course. If you are unfamiliar with online slots I would recommend having a look at the
amazing Gladiator slot
which borrows film footage and music from the Ridley Scott "Gladiator
or the equally entertaining Marvel-licenced Iron Man slots
which are now among my favorites.
If you like high volatility games then the Great Blue slot
has an awesome free spin feature with
potentially big multipliers and stacked wilds.
I could go on and to be fair, I usually do! But for now I am going to concentrate on the slots that I love and therefore I will leave
you to read. Simply click any of the slot pics or links to delve deeper and note that every page has a video
the bonus feature - usually a free spin bonus 'cos that's what I like! Happy hunting!

About Online Slot RTP Expectations
It's generally accepted that online slots have a better long-term return than land-based slot machines for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, the overheads of running an online casino are significantly cheaper than a land-based one and secondly, the 24/7
accessibility means that players are likely to spin the reels more often and feed back their winnings more easily.
Where possible, I have included the RTP (expected "Return to Player
") for each game on Slots x3
or guess-timated the range where this
is not published, based on the settings of other slots by the same providers. Because the RTP settings can vary - even from casino to casino
on some slots - don't take my word as gospel. I think they are pretty accurate but things change and I can't always be sure because there
is often a reluctance to publish that information. If in doubt, a number of slots have the RTP published in the Paytable within
the game or - mainly on no-download slots - on the slots information sheet that accompanies the game. Many however don't!
Understanding Slot Volatility...Soooo Important!
As a generalisation, the RTP of land-based slots doesn't often extend beyond 92% and online slots rarely dip below 92%. In fact, all of the slots here
are over 92% if you play them to their maximum potential. But
... be aware that these are long-term expectations based over millions of spins
and the volatility
of a game is very, very important to a slots player. The higher the volatility, the more likely you are to lose!
Conversely, the more chance there is of a big win. Just play carefully and within your budget. Each slots-specific page on this website has a
volatility pointer but be sure to also check out my Responsible Gambling page
for a few tips on how to
avoid the pitfalls.
